Nicole did not build The HR Impact to be another HR consultancy.

She built it because she had seen, firsthand, what happens when businesses either overcomplicate HR or avoid it entirely.

After almost two decades working across consulting, internal HR leadership and employee relations, Nicole recognised a pattern.

Businesses did not need more theory. They needed clarity. They needed someone who understood HR and people deeply, could translate complexity into plain English and stay calm when things became uncomfortable.

Nicole is Tenacious. Genuine. Grounded. She leads with integrity and high standards, but never ego. She builds trust quickly because she is transparent, measured and prepared.

She expects excellence, but she also equips people to reach it.

Her background in education earlier in her career sharpened her ability to explain complex concepts simply. Her years in consulting refined her commercial edge. Her leadership roles strengthened her belief in mentoring and developing others.

Nicole’s path into HR was not accidental.

Growing up, she watched her father serve as a police officer and her mother run a small business. From one, she learnt discipline, integrity and accountability.

From the other, she saw how much pressure small business owners carry and how little structured people support they often receive.

That contrast shaped her perspective early. HR is not about paperwork. It is about protecting people, strengthening businesses and making fair, confident decisions under pressure.

A note from Nicole

Having worked across internal HR roles, education and multiple consultancies, I reached a point where I knew I wanted to do things differently. I’d seen what good HR could do for a business and its people and I’d also seen what happened when it was generic, transactional or disconnected.

The HR Impact was born out of a genuine desire to offer something better. HR grounded in honesty, built around each client’s actual situation, and genuinely invested in seeing both businesses and individuals succeed.
